I want to express my sincere appreciation for your concern and help as I was traveling home to Richmond from Maryland. When I pulled off I-95 to get gas and saw smoke coming from my engine, I was really anxious about what to do, where to go, and how to deal with the situation. As soon as I drove up to your station, you came right out to find out what was wrong and you were concerned. I knew right then that you wanted to help me. All of your associates were so friendly as I sat and waited with my little dog in your office. I was really worried when I was told that you had to get a part from the dealer and that they may not get it there that day. Being a single woman on the road with my dog, I felt quite alone and vulnerable. I really want to thank you for going the extra mile to go get that part when Honda did not deliver it. I want to thank everyone for getting my car repaired and getting me back on the road home! It was a real Christmas blessing in the way I was treated and cared for.
I would like to thank all of you for the help and kindness you have shown me throughout the last six or seven years since I began bringing in my blazer. I especially want to thank Michael who has come to my aid more than once, most recently at Leesylvania State Park last month. I had just dropped off my two grandsons for the Jr. Ranger Program when I realized I would not be able to drive away because I had set the parking brake, forgetting that I had previously pulled out the parking brake release handle. Words cannot express the relief I felt when he drove up cheerfully and took care of them problem. Also, Jack has always patiently figured out what I am talking about when I describe my latest problem with the Blazer. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I can always depend on your help and honest service.
I am writing to thank you for your excellent service this summer as I was traveling through your area with my church youth group. In the middle of our trip, the car became very hard to start and began to stall. We arrived at your area late at night and I was able to speak with your service person and drop the car off. I really appreciated your willingness to repair the car the next day despite your busy schedule. I just wanted you to know that your extra efforts were very much appreciated and helped our trip to be a success. As for the van, it is working better than it has in years. We have noticed significant improvements in our gas mileage. We were going to sell the van this fall, but have decided to keep it for our teenager to drive.
You have been providing dependable, quality care for our family vehicles ever since you were located at the Exxon Service Station on Route 234, including routine maintenance, inspections, analysis of any mechanical difficulties, accurate estimates, and prompt repairs when and where necessary. The most recent example was your accurate diagnosis of the “rough ride” that I was experiencing in my 1996 Crown Victoria. You told me that I needed four new tires and a front-end alignment. You did the work for the amount estimated and my car’s ride was restored to like-new quality. My family and I appreciate the professionalism and quality work we receive from Daniels Auto Care.
For years we have been taking our cars to the Lincoln dealership up the street and for years we were hit with exorbitant bills, ridiculous excuses, and poor workmanship. While telling our tales of horror to a very good friend, she highly recommended Daniels Auto Care. That was several years ago. Since then, we, too, have sent many clients your way and will continue to do so. I am reminded on one occasion when my transmission needed replacing and Myron stayed very late so I would have my car for the weekend. This type of customer service has no price. It shows the commitment that you have to making your customers happy and keeping them for life. Besides excellent customer service, Myron’s workmanship is second-to-none! Once he repairs a problem it never returns. We are always confident that when he says we need a part we know we do! After experiencing experimentation and installing unnecessary parts (and the car still was not operating correctly) at the dealership, it is refreshing to have an experienced mechanic take care of our cars. Your slogan, “Good People to Do Business With,” is more than just a slogan. For all who work at Daniels Auto Care, it is a way of life!
Over the years you have demonstrated great integrity. This attribute has, in my opinion, contributed to your fine reputation and the longevity of your establishment. You and your employees have continued to put forth every effort to do an efficient job to attain my satisfaction. Your employees have demonstrated good mechanical abilities. They continue to strive towards completing repairs in a timely fashion. Another outstanding attribute and one the impresses me the most, is their ability to maintain a very friendly attitude. This is not always an easy task when dealing with a frustrated customer. I know because I have tested everyone’s patience in the shop at one time or another. I wish you the best, and hope you continue to have a long and fruitful establishment.

On a personal note, I want to comment on your utmost kindness when I was in a car accident. I phoned you, and you were there in less than 15 minutes with a tow truck! After being quite traumatized, I was so happy to see you. I was immensely grateful to know that you were towing my vehicle and storing it on your lot until the insurance company assessed the damage. After all that, you went out of your way to drive me where I needed to go. There are not many people who would stop what they are doing to assist a customer the way you did for me. I just want to let you know that we really appreciate you taking the time to assist me during this difficult time.
