Tips on how to properly maintain your car and save money!

The temperature outside is beginning to rise and its time to think
about your car.

Higher temperatures speed up a car’s wear and tear, as fluids and lubricants
break down more quickly. Always follow your manufacturer’s recommended
maintenance schedule (see your owner’s manual) and taking the following steps,
your car will be ready a hot summer:

Come to Daniels Auto Care and get a pre-trip
inspection by our qualified technicians before you start
out on your trip. Road repairs may be costly, and disrupt
your vacation plans.

Check the air conditioning, antifreeze and inspect the belts and hoses.
Inspect batteries and battery cables for corrosion, cracks and dirt.
Have Daniels inspect your brake pads and linings for wear.
Change the engine oil and filter according to your manufacturer’s specifications.
Replace old wiper blades.
Check the air pressure in all tires, including the spare, to make sure they are properly inflated. Check your car’s interior and exterior lights, including turn signals and high beams.
Let our ASE certified team inspect the radiator pressure cap, belts and hoses.
